Test Method Creation

GRL works with standards groups to develop compliance test specifications (CTS) for different connectivity technology. Leveraging years of experience and close industry relationships, GRL understands how to bring CTS adoption into the industry. GRL has worked closely with PCI Express, USB 3.0, and is currently the Editor of the DisplayPort 1.2 Electrical CTS.

GRL works closely with equipment and fixture vendors to develop robust Method of Implementations (MOI) for their hardware so they can be reliably used in official compliance testing of new standards. GRL also works with standards groups to get these MOI's approved as official hardware for testing these standards.

Customers may have equipment but run into challenges in how to use their equipment for proper testing of various technologies. GRL can help customer develop custom test methodologies that adhere to industry accepted practices but tailored to the customer's own testing, control, and automation environment.
