Johnson Tan, Co-Founder & CEO
As CEO, Johnson’s main goal is to help customer navigate a world where connectivity solutions continue to get faster, proliferate, and get harder to implement. Johnson was previously VP & GM of the USB and Networking Business Units at SMSC, a fabless semiconductor company focused on connectivity solutions. Through his experiences developing, adopting and selling connectivity technologies, Johnson takes a very customer centric view on GRL’s service model and offerings. He holds a BS and MS in EECS from MIT, and MBA from Harvard Business School.
Quintin Anderson, Co-Founder & COO
Quintin runs operations at GRL and focuses on creating superior customer experiences through extraordinary levels of customer service. Since 2015, Quintin has served on the Board of Directors of the HDMI Forum, whose purpose is to to guide the future direction of HDMI technology, develop new versions of the HDMI Specification, and foster broader global adoption and interoperability. Prior to co-founding GRL, Quintin held leadership positions with Deloitte Consulting on three continents and has extensive experience in operations, finance, and general management. He earned a BS with highest honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Vamshi Kandalla, Executive Vice President & General Manager
Vamshi brings to GRL a strong track record of success with over 20 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to GRL, Vamshi was the head of Symmetricom’s Global Embedded Solutions Division responsible for global marketing, product management, technical management and business creation; and held leadership positions with Applied Micro, MosChip Semiconductor, and Standard Microsystems (SMSC). Vamshi holds a B.E. in Instrumentation Engineering and an MBA.
Evan Sun, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Asia Pacific Region
Evan runs GRL APAC operations and focuses on enabling Asian customers to implement high-speed connectivity technologies faster and easier. Evan spent 15 years at Lucent Technologies and Tektronix in engineering, sales, marketing, and business development working in China, USA and Singapore. He holds an MS in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
JJ Chou, General Manager, Greater China
JJ runs operations for GRL Taiwan and focuses on creating superior customer experiences through extraordinary levels of customer service. Prior to GRL, JJ spent 10 years in sales and product management roles at Edimax Technology and Allion Test labs.
Lucy Ma, Director of Operations, GRL China
Lucy runs operations for GRL China with a focus on creating superior customer experiences through extraordinary levels of customer service. Prior to GRL, Lucy spent 14 years in engineering management and customer service roles at Mitac and Flextronix. She holds a BS in Mechatronics from Tianjin Polytechnic University, and a MBA from Donghua University.
How Wu, Director of Business Development, GRL Taiwan
How runs business development for GRL Taiwan and focuses on developing new business, maintaining trusting relationship with clients, and driving awareness of GRL’s services and solutions. Prior to GRL, How spent six years at Allion Test Labs, most recently as Sales Manager.
Annie Tao, Senior Sales Manager, GRL South China
Annie runs business development for GRL South China and focuses on developing new business, and driving awareness of GRL’s services and solutions. Prior to GRL, Annie spent over 7 years in project management, senior sales management, certification and testing at Allion. She holds 3 years of OEM account management involvement with Foxconn and has experience in marketing, accounting and administration.
Kanji Miyashita, Sales Manager, GRL Japan
Kanji is responsible for expanding sales and marketing of GRL services and products to Japanese market in GRL Japan. He focuses on making strong connections and relationship with clients. He has contributed to Tektronix for 36 years, and has worked on marketing, broadcasting equipment, video equipment and test & measuring equipment. In particular, he had a huge impact in the field of Optical and TDR market as a sampling product specialist in Japan. He also had the business result of doubling the order of sampling oscilloscopes in Tektronix.
