The USB PD 3.1 certified Silicons, which provide a maximum power of 240W, fulfilled newly released test requirements for swift movement into the China market.
Granite River Labs (“GRL”), a global leader in test and certification services and automated test solutions for digital connectivity, charging technologies, and professional market access services, is proud to have tested and certified Shenzhen Injoinic Technology's Silicon products as USB Power Delivery 3.1 certified and for distribution in China. Injoinic's IP2756 chip has become one of the earlier controllers to pass the rigorous USB-IF TID PD 3.1-EPR certification test using GRL Dongguan's in-house fast charging solution.
Unveiled by USB-IF in 2021, the USB PD 3.1 EPR specification adds new features to the previous USB PD specification by expanding the maximum wattage of PD 3.0 power supply from 100W to 240W (48V 5A). Once again, GRL proves its frontrunner status in the field of fast charge by accurately testing controllers according to newly released requirements shortly after their formulation.
“As a global leader in engineering services and test automation solutions for connectivity and charging, we are dedicated to delivering professional testing services to our customers.” Holger Kunz, GRL President of Worldwide Services, stated, "Our goal is to assist developers in swiftly adopting the latest technology and interfaces, and are proud to have achieved that through successful certification and testing of this EPR chip using GRL's self-developed test equipment, the GRL-C2-EPR."
"As a leader in fast charging technology, Injoinic has once again spearheaded a technological breakthrough in the region by achieving PD3.1-EPR certification through GRL," remarked Peng Feng, Deputy General Manager of Injoinic's Second Business Department. "This accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to complying with USB PD technology, which have been made possible through GRL’s testing capabilities.”,
