Granite River Labs (“GRL”), a global leader in engineering services, automated test solutions for digital connectivity and charging technologies, and professional market access services, has received approval from the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) for its USB4 Return Loss Test Automation Software for Anritsu ShockLine™ Performance VNA (GRL-USB4RL-AN) and Keysight ENA (GRL-USB4RL-KS).
The GRL-USB4RL-AN/KS automates USB4® Return Loss testing for Peripherals, Hosts and Hubs while covering 10, 10.3125, 20, and 20.625 Gbps data rates. Additionally, impedance testing results for USB4 Version 1.0 can be easily captured to track any mismatches resulting in return loss. Accompanying these solutions are the integrated transmitter (GRL-USB4-TX) and receiver (GRL-USB4-RXA) software, which are designed within the same framework to minimize equipment calibration time and automate receiver jitter tolerance testing.
