Vietnam Market Access

Product certification and the Vietnam Certification Centre (QUACERT) quality mark are mandatory for locally manufactured regulated products. A DoC or third-party certification by a Certification Body (CB) are the only documents required for imported products under import-export goods control. Type approval may be required by certification or declaration of conformity depending on the product. The MIC must approve and list test laboratories that conduct type approval testing. The ICT Mark of conformity should be applied appropriately to products that have been approved or declared.

Testing at a laboratory designated or recognized by the MOST is mandatory.
Testing according to Vietnamese National Technical Regulations (QCVN)
Additional Information: Household and Office equipment must have Energy efficiency approvals

ICT Certification (Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam - MIC)

Requirements: Safety, EMC, Wireless, Mandatory
Authority/Regulatory Body: Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (MIC) & The Authority of Radio Frequency Management (ARFM)
Validity Period of Certification: 2 Years
Local Representative Required - Yes authority registration is required
RF Performance Testing Required - Yes* (1-2)
