Santa Clara, Calif., July 12, 2017 – Granite River Labs (GRL), a global leader in engineering services and test solutions for connectivity, now provides Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 compliance testing with support of new key features such as USB Power Delivery’s Programmable Power Supply (PPS).  PPS enables fast, efficient charging by allowing the phone to intelligently decide the optimal voltage and current levels and effectively communicate with the charger.  Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 also adds various safety enhancements and allows for cooler charging.

“GRL has been supporting the testing needs of the USB Power Delivery (PD) ecosystem since the beginning, and we are excited to support Qualcomm’s adoption of USB PD 3.0 in Qualcomm Quick Charge 4,” said Johnson Tan, GRL co-Founder and CEO.

“GRL is an innovative leader in compliancy testing with a proven history of USB PD verification.  As Qualcomm Technologies works to bring the speed, reliability, safety and consistency of Quick Charge to the entire mobile industry with Quick Charge 4, we are excited to work with GRL in the realization of this goal,” said Josh Warner, Product Manager at Qualcomm.
