In collaboration with KDPOF, GRL will showcase Gigabit Ethernet over Plastic Optical Fiber (GEPOF) compliance test setup and automation executing ISO 21111 series specified test cases for IEEE 100BASE-T1 and IEEE 1000BASE-RHC.

Demand for more electronic devices in cars, such as anti-collision sensors, media players, and navigation systems has led to the deployment of Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) in automotive networks. GRL has partnered with Madrid, Spain-based KDPOF who has led the development of a high spectral efficiency communication technology that exploits the available capacity of large core POF and provides a physical layer of 1 Gbps Ethernet within the MOST fiber and connectors.

Stop by the exhibition floor (look for the GRL logo) to discuss the GEPOF compliance test set up and learn how compliance testing with good reproducibility improves device evaluation efficiency to help get the most out of your automotive networking investment for the next generation of connected automobiles.

Contact EVP and GM Vamshi Kandalla (below) to schedule an appointment, or just stop by.

About KDPOF | https://www.kdpof.com/
KDPOF develops state of the art microelectronics for high speed communications over large core Plastic Optical Fiber (POF). By providing a flexible, robust and affordable Gigabit networking technology that efficiently approaches the theoretical limit of the channel, KDPOF makes Gigabit communication over POF a reality.
